Robyn Tresnak

Children's Ministry Director

Children’s Ministry has always been a part of Robyn’s weekly life, whether on staff in a church or as a volunteer, even throughout her time in the elementary schools. During her undergraduate work she had the privilege of serving in two churches. In the first, she helped plant a new church, focusing on the children’s ministry. In the second, she served as children’s ministry director in a community that included a sizable neighborhood outreach for families. Now, for three decades, Robyn has continually served in children’s ministry both formally and informally. At times this meant planting a church, at times building curriculum and teaching children, at times organizing volunteers, at times it meant guiding the children to present a musical and drama program. At ALL times this meant laying a foundation of learning for children and their families to discover Jesus’ love, God’s hands in our lives, and the overwhelming joy we can find in the family of God.

Time invested in children, in families, is time Robyn recognizes as her gift from God and a way to give back to Him. Within the community, she also shares time as the founder and CEO of Robyn’s N.E.S.T., a charitable foundation that shares literacy and extended educational opportunities with children and families in under-resourced communities. Additionally, she presents at numerous educational conferences each year and sits on multiple literacy councils. Each moment Robyn spends with children, with families, she realizes personal growth in our Savior and the way He guides every step of life. She is incredibly grateful to be a part of the 247 family and continue growing with each of you!
